Nestled in the heart of a vibrant culinary scene, Selina proved to be a delightful haven for a gourmet getaway. The proximity to various restaurants and eateries was a pleasant surprise, but it was Ray's Palapa Restaurant at the hotel that truly stole the show. Although closing early at 8 p.m., the menu offered tantalizing Yucatecan-style dishes that perfectly captured the essence of Mexico's coastal flavors. As a culinary tour guide from Oaxaca, known for its rich mole dishes, I was impressed by the fresh fish options and the delicious margaritas.Situated at one end of the pool, dining at Ray's Palapa was a tranquil experience, enhanced by the lovely lagoon view. The breakfast, honoring Mexican realities, was a joy for my taste buds, offering a perfect start to each day. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added a touch of charm to the already inviting ambiance. Selina's culinary innovation truly made this stay a memorable one, and I can't wait to return for another culinary adventure.
